She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert McPhail and Patty McPhail; her sister Juliet Stallings; and her husband Dr. Raymond Hampton. She is survived by: her sons, Dr. R. Moss Hampton (Denise), William M. Hampton (Sandra) and Dr. David M. Hampton (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Claire DeVilder (C. J.), Ann Marie Hampton, Coleman Hampton (Marianna), Hunter Hampton (Sydney), Michael Hampton (Carolyn), Conner Hampton, Hallie Hampton and Rachel Cocek (Adam).
