He was predeceased by: his parents, James Britton and Ruby Caviness; his grandchild Aiden; and his siblings, Sam and Cynthia.

He is survived by: his daughters, Tiffiney Britton, Shailey Campbell and Elizabeth Flynn; his grandchildren, Ashantae, Alina, Akeem, Aaron, Aspyn, Nevaeh, Amori, Elizabeth and Aulani; his great grandchild Nahla; his sister Belinda; and his close friend Ryan Damron.
