It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patsy Murray of Pampa, Texas, who passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wheeler and Myrtle Wheeler; her brothers, Elmo Wheeler, Tony Wheeler, Paul Wheeler and Clyce Wheeler; and her daughter Penney Vernatter.
She is survived by: her sons, Harold Murray (Debbie) of Pampa, Dirk Murray of Junction and Joe Murray (Sherri) of Pampa; her son-in-law Wesley Vernatter of Pampa; her grandchildren, Joshua Vernatter (Bella) of Westown, NY, Daniel Vernatter (April) of Mustang, Angela Bentley (Heath) of Pampa, Matthew Murray (Kendall) of Canyon, Melody Twombley (Chase) of San Angelo, Tera Lavrenz (Chris) of Lefors, Mark Murray (Erin) of Lubbock, Hannah Shultz (Adam) of Pampa, Andrew Vernatter (Alexis) of Vienna, WV, Jonathan Murray (Anna) of Arlington, Zach Murray (Amy) of Pampa and Peter Vernatter of Davisville, WV; and her stepgrandchildren, Michael Cochran of Amarillo, Tanner Cochran (Kristin) of Pampa and Macy Smith (Clay) of Amarillo. She is also survived by 36 great grandchildren.
