He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur C. Sr. Thomas and Freda Josephine Thomas (Williams); and his spouse Jony Mae Litchfield. He is survived by : his daughters, Vicky Lynn Jay of Amarillo and Carolyn Beddingfield (Bruce) of Panhandle; his grandchildren, Tessa Mogelinski (Joey), Jason (Kassie Caffee), Cody Beddingfield and Sara Maines (Casey); his great grandchildren, Shadyn Caffee, Cort Maines and Nora Maines; and his great great grandchildren, Cooper Caffee and Shalynn Caffee.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Panhandle Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Cecil Thomas to Alzheimer's Association or Bristol Park Memory care in Amarillo.
