As Earl departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Earl. Though Earl may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Eakes and Marguerite Eakes (Stover); his stepfather Bill Tarbutton; his sister Pat Mohan (Jerry); his daughter Linda; and his stepson Robert Price.
He is survived by: his son Jeff (Donna); and his stepchildren, Deborah Black (Gary) and Dale Price (Dena). He is also survived by 10 grandkids, and 16 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (701 Main St, Panhandle, TX 79068).
