Though Darrel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Darrel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde A. Bennett and Fern Violet Koelsh Bennett; and his stepmother Mary Jean Johnson Bennett. He is survived by: his sister Rose Marie Brakhage (Loren) of Great Bend, KS.; his nephews, Garry Lynn Gugins of Kinsley, KS. and Dean Allen Bennett of Salina, KS.; and his granddaughter Miranda Potter of Paris, TX.. He is also survived by extended family; a large community of cousins in Larned, KS, and many friends.
