She was predeceased by: her husband James G. Wood; her daughters, Denise Lynne and Juliann; her parents, Clyde Green and Bernice Green; and her sister Ann Cagle.
She is survived by: her son Tim J. Wood of Paris; her sister Betty Burns; her children, Jeffrey Alan and Pamela Jannette of Laurel, Mississippi; her brother-in-law James Cagle (Glenda) of Collinsville, Alabama; and her close friend Dr. Devabrata Ganguly (Ragini) of Paris.
