He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Henry Harris and Pat Julian Harris; and his aunts and uncles, Kenneth "Dink" Julian, Jerry Julian, Harold Julian, Pauline Childers, Margaret Swearingen and Odessa Lawrence.

He is survived by: his brother Brad Harris; and his close friend Buck Heard. He is also survived by many cousins and second cousins.
