He was predeceased by: his parents, Hunter Bywaters Raper and Cleo Lenoir Heflin; and his stepson Steve Shoemake. He is survived by: his wife Roxanne; his sister Sharon Pels (Jerry) of League City, Texas; his children, April Lockey (Curtis) of La Jolla, California and Aaron Raper (Jamey) of Paris; his stepdaughters, Gina Korczynski (Steve) of Flower Mound, Texas and Traci Shoemake of Paris; and his grandchildren, Jake, Brooks Lockey, Chance Henderson, Finn Raper, Mallory Shoemake, Erin Anthony (Austin) and Connor Korczynski.
