He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Barnes and Pauline Coffman Barnes; his son Sammy Barnes; and his sister Paula Sue. He is survived by: his wife Marlynn Oleta Miller Barnes; his daughter Aimee S. Cobb (Steve); his granddaughter Shara S. Sullins (Ken); and his great grandchildren, Blake A. Sullins and Claire Elizabeth Sullins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bright-Holland Funeral Home (2601 Lamar Ave, Paris, TX 75460).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Latchkey Program at Lamar Avenue Church of Christ, 3535 Lamar Ave., Paris, TX 75460.
