He was predeceased by: his parents, Haden "Jack" Proffer and Dorothy Billingsley Proffer; and his wife Beverly Bailey Proffer. He is survived by: his children, Brian (Marleena) and Anna (Michele); his grandchildren, Tyler, Landree and Gage; and his siblings, Susan Blouin (David) and Danny Proffer (Linda).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mount Tabor Cemetery (5063 FM 1499, Paris, TX 75460). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Mount Tabor Cemetery Association.
