He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Robinson, Sr. and Lillian Lucille Vandiver Robinson; his grandfather Buddy Rater (Buddy); his daughter Rhonda Robinson (Greg Gillian) of Flint; and his siblings, Shirley (Roseanna Robinson) and Wanda Sherman.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie D. Robinson; his sons, Tommy Robinson (Anja), Tray Streety (Melissa) of Paris and Tim Risinger (Missy) of Paris; and his caregivers, Dr. Tijerina, Dr. Singh and Dr. Khadka. He is also survived by Several cousins, two nephews and three nieces.
