He is survived by: his children, Amy Joe Belk, Leonel Acevedo Jr. and Joe William Acevedo; his grandchildren, Larry, Gabriela, Angel, Isiah, Kyndell, Keshawn, Niah, Mija, Selena, Deuce, Arizonia, Nevaeh, Joe, Claire and Genesis; and his brother Jesse Acevedo (Linda Ortega).
