Martha Thurman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Thurman of Paris, Texas, who passed away on August 10, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Thurman; her daughter Mary Ruth Joslin; her parents, Susan Taylor and Samuel Parker; her stepfather Fred Taylor; and her brother Frank Parker.

She is survived by: her children, LaCosta Arrington (Anthony White), Shabecka Wilson (John Burton), Joe Shannon and Tammy Lewis (Tommy); her grandchildren, Brittany Biggs, Dustin Krayniak (Sue Ann), Skyler Cook, Cameron McDowell, Maddie Copeland, Makayala Burton, Aja Thompson, Ryan Lewis, Cory Lewis, Chad Lewis, Loren Barber (Gabby) and Lane Barber; and her sisters, Ruth Maynard and Beverly Duvall. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
