She was predeceased by: her parents, R. E. Short and Lydia Aden Short; her spouse Cannada, Jr.; her sister Carolyn Short Hall; her son-in-law David Moss; and her in-laws, Melford and Edna Cannada.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Darnell (Jim) of Amherst, Sherry Bailey of Paris, Tammy Moss of Howland and Monty Cannada of Howland; and her grandchildren, Amanda Homann (Chris) of Jacksonville, April Desabrais (Danny) of Southlake, J. C, Darnell (Juli Ann) of Paris, Casey Moss of Howland, Matthew Cannada (Ali) of Howland and Sloan Moss (Alysa) of Howland. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
