She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Lee and Velma Bills Hunt; her husband Luther Lilly; her daughter Velma Lee Skelton; and her siblings, Vera Chamberlain, Era Wisdom and Jimmy Lee Hunt.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Janice Mosley and Velma Skelton; and her children, Kenneth Lilly (Ginny) of Richardson and Janice (Freddie) of Paris. She is also survived by four great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
