He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy Preston and Doris June Jones Preston; his wife Linda Kay Preston; and his nephew Jason Miller. He is survived by: his sons, Jory Preston (Maria) and Toby Preston (Crystal); his stepchildren, Stacy Eatherly, Chad Graham (Ingrid), Dale Williams (Laurie) and Tim Parks (Daria); his grandchildren, Lacie Preston, Brandon Brewer (Erin), Elizabeth Preston, Kyle Eatherly (Jennifer), Paulina Patino, Haley Williams, Alexis Elliott (Allen), Brittany McNeal, Megan Brown (Micah) and Alyssa Beck (Braxton); and his sisters, Brenda Miller (Joe) and Gayla Jeffery (Kelly). He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
