She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl D. Nard and Nora Sweptston Nard; her husband Robert Simpson; her son Bobby Beeson; her siblings, Leonard Nard, Mary VanZandt, Ada CarneyLouise Waldron, Dorothy Peace and JoAnn Weaver; and her son-in-law Earl Parnell.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Beeson (Claudia) of Baton Rouge, Mike Beeson of Amarillo and Myrtle Parnell of Paris; and her brother Carl Nard of New Mexico. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's or Dementia Associations.
