Ruth A. Lusby Obituary
We announce the death of Ruth A. Lusby of Paris, Texas, who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 103. Ruth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Ruth will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Ruth will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Ruth’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Yoho and Mini Yoho; her husbands, James V. Sciarro and Lyston T. Lusby; and her brothers, William Yoho and Burt Yoho.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Ann Julian and Jim Sciarro; her granddaughter Janice Creed of Paris; and her brother Ronnie Yoho of Beaver. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery Pavilion (560 Evergreen St, Paris, TX 75460).
