She was predeceased by: her parents, W. A. Haggard and Billie Haggard (Moody); her husband Trueman Cheney; her children, Carlton "Bubba" Cheney and Lisa David; and her sister Shirley Castner.
She is survived by: her children, Charisse Holdren (Victor) of Burkburnett, Denise Gill (Robert) of Burkburnett, Jack Cheney (Judy) of Campbell, Michael Cheney (Dolores) of Paris and Annette Abbott (Chris) of Miller Grove. She is also survived by Twenty-one grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
