It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verlene Faye (Wadford) Wilburn of Paris, Texas, who passed away on March 26, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Wadford and Elizabeth Asbery Wadford; her son Stanton Jay Jackson; and her sister Ruth Exum (Charles). She is survived by: her son Stephen Ray Jackson. She is also survived by several grandchildren and a host of friends.
