She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Auten Bundy and Mary Ezell Bundy; her husband Bobby James Sample; her brothers, Clint and Norman; and her grandsons, Patrick Sample and Cody Harsey.
She is survived by: her children, Dirk Sample (Donna), Brent Sample (Kathy) and Stacey Harsey; her grandchildren, Monique Turner (Alan), Travis Sample, Brent Jr. Sample (Katie), Bethany Pruessner (Chad), Ashley Davis (Cody), Courtney Harsey and Ray (Bryce); and her great great grandchild Campbell. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Southside Church of Christ (4110 Preston Ave, Pasadena, TX 77505). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
