He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Wilson and Lorene Owens. He is survived by: his sister Sharon Owens Thames; his niece Sharlyn Grace Thames; and his cousins, Cynthia Buck, Vicky Barber, Jeff Connor, Rick Hall and Kenneth Peacock.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the Humane Society of US.
