He is survived by: his wife Barbara Morris Bennett of Pasadena; his children, Joni Ryan (Michael) of Camden, James Bennett Jr. of Kentucky and Christy Michelle of Kentucky; and his brothers, Paul Bennett (Karen) of Conroe and Marion Glenn "Bubba" Bennett, Jr. (Pam) of Magnolia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
