He is survived by: his children, Johnny Valdez Jr. (Veronica Valdez), Rosalinda Valdez (Roy Martinez), Starsky Lee Valdez, Rita Ann Valdez, Crystal Valdez (Chris Aldaco) and Martin J. Valdez. He is also survived by seven brothers, four sisters, sixteen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
