She was predeceased by: her son Adam Guevara; her son-in-law Jose Mendez; her father Weldon Burns; her brother David Burns; and her mother Norma Burns.

She is survived by: her husband Armando Guevara; her children, Sara Barnard (Traci Phipps) and John David Barnard (Mandi); her grandchildren, Dylin, Levi and Evie Barnard; her daughter Anna Guevara; her great grandchild Jose I. Mendez; her daughters, Amber Guevara (Rebekah Poyo) and Alicia Guevara; and her sisters, Nelwyn Lewis, Betty Burns and Debbie Burns. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends.
