He was predeceased by: his mother Edna Hickman; his father-in-law Delbert Cook; and his brother-in-law Charles Russell. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Hickman; his son Jacob Hickman (Becca); his grandchildren, Olivia, Katelynn, Benjamin and Eleanor; his sisters, Lynette Turbeville (Dennis) and Lynee Fehler (Keith); his siblings-in-law, Tina Russell, Fred Cook (Susanne) and Chris Cook; and his mother-in-law Shirley Cook. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Apostolic Temple Church of Pasadena, Texas.
