She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dr. Paul Johnson Hicks; her grandson Jesus; her parents, Charles Thorp and Edith Thorp; and her children, Dr. Paul Hicks, Jr., Carolyn Kiefer, Dr. Carl Hicks and Dr. Wanda Carmichael.
