Norma Gayle (Godwin) Boike Obituary

Norma was born January 20, 1938 to Lloyd Godwin and Estelle (Helton) in Cullman, AL. She passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026 at the age of 88.

Shortly after moving to Pasadena, Texas she married the love of her life Eugene (Gene) Lambert Boike on Christmas Eve 1955. They were married 69 years and had five children – Sheila McGrath (David), Jeannie Wood (Robert), Sandra Shaw, Steve and Dan (Teresa).

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Norma's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Norma's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd and Estelle; her brothers, Harold and George; and her husband Gene Boike.

She is survived by: her sister Martha Carroll; and her children, Sheila McGrath (David), Jeanie Wood (Robert), Steve Boike, Sandra Shaw and Dan Boike (Teresa). She is also survived by many grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
