She was predeceased by : her parents, Abel Erastus Bard and Alice Jewell Fox Bard; her sister Victoria Oltman; her husband William E. Quarles; her son Adam E. Quarles; her brother Jack Bard; her nephew Joel Hollis; her sister Barbara Hollis; and her friend Mary Bamford Southwell.

She is survived by : her niece Julie Hollis; her great-niece Samantha Hollis; her cousin Karen Winchester; and her grandchildren, Camden and Emily Walding. She is also survived by many other special friends and family.
