He is survived by: his wife María Natividad Cortes of Peña; and his children, Juanita López, Gerardo Rios, Victoriano Peña, Bertha Leticia Peña and Maricruz Peña. He is also survived by his children-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
