He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Oliver and Jeannine Ott Oliver; his brothers, Donald Lewis Oliver and Marion Ray Oliver (BB); his son Lee David Turner; and his grandson Mitchell Arron Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Oliver; his sons, Sidney Daniel Turner Jr. of Deer Park, Timothy Edward Turner of Deer Park and Alan Matthew Turner (Monique) of La Porte; his sister Holly Oliver Odom (Charles "Buddy"); and his brother-in-law Bennie Walker of Houston. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great- grandson.
