He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Spence and Elizabeth Spence; and his daughter Elizabeth Marie Spence. He is survived by: his wife Florence Spence; his children, Thomas Earl Spence, Jr. (Deidre Spence) and Renee Spence; his grandchildren, Dakota Simpson (Kennedy Back), Jude Simpson (June Simpson) and Yulia Rusanova; his great grandchildren, Alexander "Sasha" McGowan and Valeria McGowan; his former wife Amanda; his niece Jana White; his brother Michael Spence (Cindy); his nephews, Alvin Spence, Christopher Spence and Brannon; Judy Carnley (Lee). He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and countless lifelong friends.
