She is survived by: her parents, Charles Byrd and Janis Byrd; her husband Mark Staes; her children, Macey Kohne-Sanchez (Dylan), Logan Staes (Bree Arrendondo) and Trent Staes (Maddy Staes); her mother-in-law Lynne Staes; her brother Jeff Byrd (Holly); and her sibling's children, Kaitlyn and Zachary.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rosewood Funeral Home (17404 W Lake Houston Pkwy, Atascocita, TX 77346). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Crossroads Fellowship (12110 East Sam Houston Pkwy N, Houston, TX 77044).
