He was predeceased by: his parents, Dooley Flippen and Isabell Perryman Flippen; his wife Sharon Harris; and his grandson Ryan Dailey. He is survived by: his children, Sheryl Perry of Evant, Barbara Dailey (Dan) of Huntsville and Stacy Wayne Flippen of Pattison, Texas. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Scott's Funeral Home (2425 E Main St, Gatesville, TX 76528). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Murphree Cemetery (14446 S Hwy 281, Evant, TX 76525).
