With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alfonso Vasquez of Pearland, Texas, born in Port Arthur, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Isidro "Toribio" Vasquez and Juanita Vasquez; and his siblings, Raymond, Rudy, Henry "Candy" Vasquez, Aurora Vasquez and Emma Muñoz.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine Vasquez (Sanchez); his children, Alfonso "Nick" Vasquez (Jill Choi), Joni Hohmeier (Hans-Ewald), Lana Zachary (Ronald) and Leticia Vasquez; his grandchildren, Christian Choi Vasquez, Alexander Choi Vasquez, Clinton Zachary, Skyler Rabelas, Zivan Vasquez, Zabyn Vasquez and Zarah Knowles; and his great grandchildren, Ashton Levi Venn and Aspen Ivy Boroń. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the LULAC Council 151 Scholarship Fund in memory of beloved family member Zachary Gonzales.
