With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anna Stephens Garvin in Pearland, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 18, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Anna Stephens is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Anna Stephens' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Barnes and Rosetta Adams Barnes. She is survived by: her children, Paulette Stephens (Willie) and Vincent Garvin (Yvette); and her daughters-in-law, Jacquelyn Stephens and Joyce Gail Stephens. She is also survived by five granddaughters, three grandsons, twelve great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, stepsons, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that donations/memorial contributions may be directed toward Butler Presbyterian Church, 603 West Victory Drive in Savannah or to the charity of one's choice.
