She was predeceased by: her father Abraham Clark; her siblings, Larry L. Clark, James L. Clark, Sr. and Alberta Polite; and her grandson DaQuan Mitchell.
She is survived by: her husband Donald R. Simpson of Monticello, AR; her mother Abbie Clark of Dermott, AR; her children, James Simpson of Newton, TX, Donnie Simpson (Tonya) of Shankleville, TX and Dr. ShaRon Simpson-Spikes (Daymon) of Rosharon, TX; and her brothers, Abraham Clark, Jr. of Hamburg, AR, Joshua Clark of Dermott, AR and Ray Curtis of McGhee, AR. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cromwell Funeral Home (600 E St Louis St, Hamburg, AR 71646). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Montrose Cemetery.
