He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicolas Guevara and Timotea Guevara; his wife Paulita "Polly" Guevara; and his brothers, Gilbert Guevara, Leo Guevara and Hector Guevara.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Giron (Fred), Selma Gallagher (Sean), Emily Guevara (Eric) and Emir Guevara, Jr. (Ashley); his grandchildren, Chloe, Shaelyn, Tre', Jaron, Cohen and Shiloh; his great grandchild Rylan; and his siblings, Nicolas Guevara Jr. and Alicia Benavidez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Park East Funeral Home (21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
