With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary William Garner of Pearland, Texas, born in Rome, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 13, 2026 at the age of 78. Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, W. A. Garner Jr. and Mary Jo Garner; and his siblings, Gay Garner and Jan Chandler Garner. He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyne Garner; his daughter Staci Hinojosa (Felix Hinojosa Jr.); his grandsons, Zachery Rocha (Amanda Rocha) and Joshua Rocha (Patricia Rocha); and his great grandchild Madison Rocha. He is also survived by numerous extended family members, and dear friends.
