He is survived by: his wife Ruby Lee Sandars; his children, Geoffrey Sandars (Bonne) and Stephanie Cordes (Josh); his siblings, Bill Sandars and Mary Sandars; and his grandchildren, Christopher Sandars, Kyle Sandars, Lorelei Cordes and Lauren Cordes.
In lieu of flowers, George's family requests that donations be made to Texas Lions Camp through the Pearland Lions Club, or to the Vic Coppinger YMCA.
