He was predeceased by: his sons, John "Jay" Worthington Jr. and Sean Allen Worthington. He is survived by: his sister Margaret Ruth Worthington; his daughter Anna "Tracy" Reimondo (Craig Reimondo); his grandchildren, David Reimondo and Victoria Kliesing; and his great grandchildren, Alexandria "Ali" Reimondo, Damian Ruiz and Emilia Ruiz.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a local educational or aviation charity in his honor.
