She was predeceased by: her father Theodore "Ted" Vargas; her brother Theodore "Ted" Vargas III; and her aunt Julia Cantu. She is survived by: her husband Gerardo Hernandez; her children, Shannon Phillips (Alexis), Bryson Reed, Aeliana Ward, Cristian Casas and Jeanette Hernandez; her siblings, Vicky Harris (Daniel) and Rudolph Vargas (Judi); her nibling Lil Rudy; her sister Erica Hernandez (Adan); and her mother Esther Vargas.
