He was predeceased by: his parents, David Buchanan and Helen Buchanan. He is survived by: his wife Janice Buchanan of Manvel; his children, Lisa Smith (Aaron) of New Braunfels, Bruce Buchanan (Tammy) of China Springs and Steven Buchanan (Jennifer) of Manvel; his grandchildren, Brittany Coker, Megan Buchanan, Dillon Sappington, Andrew Buchanan, Cody Sawyer, Joshua Buchanan, Sarah Buchanan, Jessica Buchanan, Abigail Buchanan and Luke Buchanan; and his great grandchildren, Baylee Coker and Kelcey Coker.
