With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Lopez Castillo of Pearland, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Castillo and Juanita Castillo. He is survived by: his wife Frances Casillo; and his children, Michael Garza, Roy Castillo (Virginia), Ronnie Castillo (Sandra), Lisa Layfield (James), Mona Holtkamp (Lance), Regina Castillo and Eric Castillo. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM at the South Park Funeral Home (1310 N Main St, Pearland, TX 77581). A rosary was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Helen Catholic Church (2209 Old Alvin Rd, Pearland, TX 77581). A reception was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at the Southpark Funeral Home (1310 N Main St, Pearland, TX 77581).
