She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Upshaw and Clara Upshaw; her daughter-in-law Lilley Emanuel; and her siblings, Dewey Upshaw, Billy Upshaw, James Upshaw, Bobby Upshaw, Charles Upshaw, Kenneth Upshaw and Peggy Blevins.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Speelman; and her children, Buddy Emanuel, Joe Turney (Maria) and Ramona Milling (Truman). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; two great, great, grandchildren.
