He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabriel Cuevas and Angelina Calderon Cuevas; his wife Donata Trevino Cuevas; his children, Elida Robles, Edna Segundo, Rosalinda Uvalle and Samuel Segundo; and his grandchildren, Tomas Segundo and Priscilla Hurt.
He is survived by: his children, Yvette Cuevas Medrano (Jose), Sonia C. Martinez (Pete) and Lupe Segundo Rendon; his siblings, Chuy Cuevas, Maria Rodriguez and Fey Carrizales; and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Lisa, Gina, Jose, Ayanna, Daniella, Sammy Jr., Dina, Ben, Clarisa, Joshua and Melissa. He is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren 17 great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (422 W Brazos St, Pearsall, TX 78061). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
