He was predeceased by : his parents, Ricardo Vargas and Patricia Hernandez Vargas; and his siblings, Rodolfo Vargas, Graciela Tovar, Lupe Vargas, Yolanda Almendarez and Estella Vargas.
He is survived by : his wife Rosa Vargas; his children, Rebecca Walker (Toice Jr.), Mario Vargas and Rachel Vargas; his siblings, Juana Cardenas, Abraham Vargas, Ricardo Vargas Jr. and Jesse Vargas; and his grandchildren, Jose Antonio Hernandez, Marcos Hernandez, Luis Manuel Hernandez, Bryan Christopher Vargas, Brianna Marie Vargas, Mario Vargas Jr., Damien Santos and Lyzette Perez. He is also survived by 14 great - grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
