He was predeceased by: his parents, T. J. Smith and Loraine Smith. He is survived by: his wife Debra; his children, Chris Smith and Tiffany Halsell; his grandchildren, Grace, Grant and Katelyn Halsell; and his siblings, Leanne Waligura (Joe) and Steve Smith (Mikki).
