We announce the death of Bobbie Denton (Pecos, Texas), born in Lordsburg, New Mexico, who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 86. Bobbie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Woodrow Earven and Jessie Lee Shores Earven. She is survived by: her husband John Henry Denton; her cousin Lawrence "Jimmy" Gay (John Denton); her daughters, Sheri Miller-Ortiz (Joe), Roberta Read (Quail) and Jonnie Benge (Ronnie); her grandchildren, James Miller (Lisa), Joshua Miller, Sheridan Dancer, Riley Read (Garrett Box), Quinlan Read and Colton Benge; and her close friend Barbara Milton.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pecos Funeral Home (607 W 3rd St, Pecos, TX 79772). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
